How to brush football mud

A big misconception is that you want to brush the football mud into the ball. However that’s not the case. For most muds that are sold it can make the ball very heavy which is not what you want. Footballs need to be as light as possible so if you add extra layers of mud it will get heavy and the strokes of brushing it in hard will wear down the pebbles. With our mud just brush the top layer off. After that you can brush everything in to have it nice and clean! The ball should be grippy, light and dark ready to go! Here’s a video explaining more:
