This was my first time ever mudding a football, last year I used Wilson’s conditioner and wax only. After watching multiple videos made by Catalina I went ahead with my football and their product. Everything worked great, I’ll say that the shaving cream has to be one of the most important steps as it allows that first application of conditioner to truly get in the leather.
The mud itself worked great, brushed off real easy as well. Would definitely recommend the product, strongly encourage watching a video or two before going ahead with things.
Great product and we love what it does to our footballs. We'll use it on every ball we have in the program!
Product itself is ok. But the size isridiculously small for the price compared to other manufacturers.
Hi Jason, thanks for the feedback. If you’re comparing it to Wilson tack Bar to say it’s ridiculously small is overkill given it’s only 20% smaller. This is because we don’t use any wasted fillers. With that said if we made it the same size it would cost more for the ingredients which we want to keep it around a healthy price. We also know most don’t use the whole bar and it ends up being wasteful.
