Catalina Football Mud is made for prepping leather footballs. This method has been practiced and pass down for years from the NFL all the way to the high school level. As a former QB myself, I understand the importance and difference it makes.
Grip!
We use natural mud from this region that has glauconite and other rocks, along with matter that provides a smooth but grippy surface. Once you try it you’ll understand the difference. New balls are now easier to throw!
Darken!
The ingredients is all natural but extremely hard to find when it comes to mud that darkens the football. We found it and want to share it with the nation. Other options don’t have that capability and understand the chemistry.
